The Alberta Fire Safety Association continues to strengthen its role as the unified voice of Alberta’s fire safety industry. We invite you to join us for our upcoming General Meeting as we advance key initiatives, discuss current code developments, and build stronger collaboration across trades, service providers, and enforcement partners.

This is more than a meeting. It is an opportunity to help shape the direction of fire safety advocacy in Alberta.

If you are unable to attend in person, the meeting will also be broadcast live via Zoom. A link will be distributed closer to the date. To ensure you receive access details, please contact us in advance.

We extend our thanks to Troy Life & Fire Safety Ltd. for sponsoring our luncheon and supporting the continued growth of AFSA.

Please RSVP by October 15, 2026.

If there are specific topics or industry concerns you would like addressed, kindly submit them in advance so they may be considered for inclusion in the agenda.

Your participation strengthens our collective voice. We look forward to seeing you in Red Deer as we continue building a stronger, more connected fire safety community across Alberta.

Committee Information

Join one of our committees where the real work gets done.

Get Involved. Lead the Industry.

If you work in fire alarm systems, portable fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems, special hazard systems, kitchen suppression, or kitchen exhaust cleaning, AFSA invites you to become active within one of our five industry committees.

These committees are where meaningful work happens. They are the working groups that review code changes, identify emerging industry challenges, develop position statements, and provide informed input to regulators and authorities. This is where collaboration replaces competition and where collective expertise shapes practical, workable solutions for Alberta.

AFSA Committees:

• Fire Alarm

• Portable Fire Extinguishers

• Sprinkler Systems

• Special Hazard Systems

• Kitchen Suppression & Exhaust Cleaning

Participation gives you more than updates. It gives you a voice. It connects you with experienced professionals across the province. It allows you to contribute directly to discussions that impact how our industry operates today and how it will evolve tomorrow.

AFSA is building a stronger, more unified fire safety sector in Alberta. If you want to influence the conversation rather than react to it, this is where you start.
